Offset Printing

Foresight is great only because we employ great people. We have nearly four dozen members on our team, with a combined industry experience of more than 1000 years. Seriously, we added it up and didn’t believe it ourselves. A millennium of knowledge can do wonders for your quality and reputation!

Scott Tyler, production manager

The leadership and expertise Scott provides with his 27 years of industry experience makes everyone at Foresight perform better. A classic-car buff, he is also very involved with the American Legion, spending his weekends cooking for more than 100 people. We still haven’t gotten him to make us anything though.

Kaan Davis, press operator

Returning to the homeland after a 15 year streak in CO, and with over 20 years of industry experience, we are excited to call Kaan one of our own. Coming from a long line of printers, it’s no wonder that he has ink in his genes, or on his jeans for that matter! When he isn’t changing plates or checking dot gain, he can be found enjoying the great outdoors and chasing his 2 year old son around.

Dan Fletcher, bindery operator

Adding to our veteran lineup, Dan the man has been working in the industry for over 32 years, and he says there’s just about no job that he is unfamiliar with. His long-time experience and knowledge help to keep us on the straight and narrow through both the thick and thin.

picture

Brian Hancock, press operator

Also a multi-decade veteran press operator with Foresight, Brian’s 20 years with us have helped define the print quality our customers have come to expect. An avid fitness enthusiast, he’s at the gym five days a week, and without having to even say anything, really makes the rest of us realize we should be too.

Christina Haskell, prepress technician

Although she’s only been in the printing industry for about five years, Christina is a prepress whiz who always seems to know a lot more than she should for the time she’s spent at it. We depend on her a ton. Her baking and cooking skills are awesome to have around too.

Craig Herrick, delivery

If your project ends with us delivering material to you, it’s Craig who stops in to say hello. Though with our nifty new wide-format flatbed printer and digital cutter, he’ll be spending more of his time helping us ramp up that operation. When we let him, he loves to escape in a boat or go for a ride on his Harley.

picture

Chris Hyland, prepress supervisor

Foresight Group has been lucky to have Chris Hyland on our team for more than 30 years now; when she started, we were still waxing artwork to boards to shoot with a camera. Wow. When not at work, Chris enjoys time spent on some of Michigan's many lakes and rivers.

picture

Denny Hyland, press operator

Denny has been with Foresight for 15 years … on this stint. He was with us for another 10 years before this, and we’re happy that whatever he did in between wasn’t nearly as cool as working with us. Married to Chris, another Foresight team member, Denny spends his time turning wrenches on his hot rod “Bad Habit”.

picture

Richard Jenkins, press operator

So Richard wins. His 36 years with Foresight leads the pack, and for all but 6 months of that time he’s run a Heidelberg press. We have no idea what he did to deserve that. Richard’s marriage has lasted as long as his career at Foresight too, and he’s a very active member of his church congregation.

picture

Mary Malecki, prepress technician

She shudders when it’s mentioned, but Mary has been involved with printing since 1972. (YES, they had offset presses back then!) Rightfully so, she’s even more proud to be celebrating her 30th wedding anniversary. She’s stuck here in Michigan with us, but loves traveling the southern states when we occasionally let her go.

picture

Marlin Mauer, press operator

Much like the other veterans that make up our staff, Marlin has been in the business for years, and his presswork speaks for itself. Most weekends you can find him helping out his aunt around the house, or out on the lake reeling in the big ones with his father. Can someone say, Foresight Fish Fry Friday? Try saying that 5 times fast!

picture

Kelly Miske, press operator

Starting in prepress when he was a teen and now running a press full-time, Kelly has been in the industry for many years. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking with his sons, going to car shows, and occasionally drag racing his 1970 Oldsmobile 442. When he’s not burning rubber on the mountain or track, Kelly is tending to his garden which is big enough to feed just about all of Foresight!

picture

Jim Nalett, bindery operator

Jim is so productive that we sometimes mistake him for another piece of equipment. And he’s been that way for the more than 20 years he’s been with us. It probably comes from his appreciation for NASCAR racing; he comes to work and runs flat out at 200mph. We occasionally catch him making a right though.

picture

Ron Reaves, bindery operator

Ron has been in the industry longer than some of us have even been a thought. With his 43 years of experience, specializing in bindery, there is no job too tough for him to handle. In his off time, Ron enjoys classic car shows and time spent with family. All of his 7 children and 10 grandchildren! We wonder if he still gets royalties from the Brady’s?

picture

Kevin Schoepke, press operator

When Foresight acquired Huron Valley Printing, Kevin was one of the many positive additions we gained on our team. As a parent of two and a foster parent to three grandkids, Kevin still manages to find time to play bass in not one, but two bands. Not sure if being named Kevin is a requirement to play the bass.

picture

Terry Stephens, bindery operator

For half of his 30-year career, Terry has been an operator for us at Foresight, adding to the immense talent bank we have assembled to the benefit of our customers. Like many others in Michigan, Terry’s M.O. for forgetting about work involves time spent outside fishing and hunting with his dogs.
